STEP OUT IN FAITH

God wants you to have the best of things in the worst of times. He has your very best interest at heart and wants you to prosper in all things. All His wealth belongs to His children. Not some of His wealth… ALL of it! But you do not qualify for God’s abundance unless you are His child. So, the first key to unlocking the storehouses of God is: have you received Jesus as your Savior? When God is your Father, His wealth belongs to you. He has promised to take care of His children.

As Christians, our disobedience extends to our tithes and offerings. Many Christians are D.E.B.T. Christians…Doing Everything But Tithing! They’re stingy with God, mistakenly believing that the money is theirs to do with as they please. Their financial plan doesn’t include God’s Kingdom. They errantly believe that if they give to God, they’ll have less money for themselves. But you can’t out-give God!

God loved you so much that He gave His only Son to redeem you, offering you the unmatched gift of eternal life… there has never been another gift so elaborate in the history of mankind. Tithing is not asking too much; we’re just giving back to God what’s already His.

In Malachi 3:10, God challenges us to a test. “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.”

God doesn’t operate on a system of scarcity, but of abundance. If you want to be included in that abundance, be part of His distribution system by giving to others. When God’s people live in obedience to His Word, He brings to their lives the blessing of the Kingdom because they operated under Kingdom Principles. When you subject yourself to the covering of God, you enable yourself to receive the blessings that only God can provide.

God wants you to prosper in all that you put your hands to. Financial freedom is certainly the icing on the cake, something that we should all strive to achieve. There are unlimited resources at God’s disposal. Are you going to choose to follow God’s plan, to be obedient to His voice? Step out in faith and realize how truly great our God is!

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. Humble yourself before God to pray, repent, and seek His face. May He hear from heaven and heal your land. May He forever be Lord over you.

PROTECTING OUR HERITAGE

So I answered them, and said to them, ‘The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem.’ (Nehemiah 2 : 20) In our husband-wife relationships, we are responsible for maintaining the border of marriage. Nehemiah demonstrates a principle for us as we consider those who might discourage us in our endeavors. In complete confidence, Nehemiah declared to the triple threat: “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us.” He put his enemies on alert. " Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He shall bring  it  to pass". (Psalm 37 - 5) In every congregation or conversation with Jesus recorded in the Bible, three types of individuals emerge. The curious came to hear what this preacher had to say. The convinced believed, through their experience and observation, that He had the power to change their lives.
